Richard Omelu is the Chief Executive Officer of the Export Processing Zones Authority and has over 16 years of experience spanning strategy, partnerships, resource mobilization, performance contracting, and risk and credit management. He has held roles at the Micro and Small Enterprises Authority (MSEA), the Commodities Fund, the Coffee Development Fund, the Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC), and Equity Bank. He holds a master of business administration (strategic management) from Moi University and a bachelor of commerce (finance) from the University of Nairobi. Mr. Omelu is a Risk Certified Professional I (GARP-UK) and a member of the Institute of Risk Management.
