The Olokorienito dam is a USD 90 million project located approximately 20 km east of Narosura Town in Narok South.

The dam will be 44 meters high, with a crest length of 580 meters, and will have a catchment area of 136 km² on the Lenkutoto River. It is intended to support both irrigation and domestic water supply, helping to mitigate the effects of recurring droughts that have forced pastoralist communities in the area to transition to agriculture.

The project has an estimated internal rate of return (IRR) of 25% and a benefit–cost ratio of 2.88. Water will be distributed through HDPE and UPVC pipeline networks, enabling sustainable crop farming and livestock watering in a region that currently receives only 500–700 mm of rainfall annually.
